Your family deserves a fresh start. It is time to speak to a Bankruptcy law professional to understand your rights.
While many individuals are embarrassed with the thought of having to file bankruptcy, you may owe it to your family and yourself to have a second start in life. Many of our clients are surprised at how affordable and quick the process is. New Hampshire state laws and federal bankruptcy laws control the rights and obligations of individual debtors as well as the creditors. In New Hampshire you can usually keep your house by filing a reaffirmation with your first mortgage bank. You usually can keep your car and begin to develop credit again.

FEDERAL HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY FILES MORTGAGE LAWSUIT 9-2-2011

Author: admin  //  Category: mortgage

More NEWS at http://www.newzzcafe.com/

In a move that could either send BAC stock limit down overnight or send it soaring (we are still trying to figure out just what is going on here), the NYT has broken major news that the US is preparing to go nuclear on more than a dozen big banks among which Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, in an attempt for Fannie and Freddie to recoup $30 billion if not much more.

The lawsuit is expected to hit the docket in the next few days: “The suits stem from subpoenas the finance agency issued to banks a year ago. If the case is not filed Friday, they said, it will come Tuesday, shortly before a deadline expires for the housing agency to file claims.”

FHFA goes hog wild and potentially full retard in suing everyone, or specifically 17 global banks, up to an including such dead men walking as Barclays, RBS and SocGen. Oddly such crony capitalist favorites as Wells Fargo are suspiciously absent: we wonder what the cost of that particular Eureka moment was to the interested party.

“While I believe that F.H.F.A. is acting responsibly in its role as conservator, I am afraid that we risk pushing these guys off of a cliff and we’re going to have to bail out the banks again.”

Either way, come Monday, this will get interesting when already scarce liquidity goes… poof.

The Crisis of Confidence Facing the Markets [FOX 9-27-2011]

Author: admin  //  Category: subprime mortgage

The subprime mortgage crisis reached a critical stage during the first week of September 2008, characterized by severely contracted liquidity in the global credit markets and insolvency threats to investment banks and other institutions. The United States director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), James B. Lockhart III, on September 7, 2008 announced his decision to place two United States government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs), Fannie Mae (Federal National Mortgage Association) and Freddie Mac (Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation), into conservatorship run by FHFA. United States Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, at the same press conference stated that placing the two GSEs into conservatorship was a decision he fully supported, and said that he advised ‘that conservatorship was the only form in which I would commit taxpayer money to the GSEs.’ He further said that ‘I attribute the need for today’s action primarily to the inherent conflict and flawed business model embedded in the GSE structure, and to the ongoing housing correction.’ The same day, Federal Reserve Bank Chairman Ben Bernanke stated in support: ‘I strongly endorse both the decision by FHFA Director Lockhart to place Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac into conservatorship and the actions taken by Treasury Secretary Paulson to ensure the financial soundness of those two companies.’

The First Manifesto of the Wall Street Protesters!

Author: admin  //  Category: first mortgage

“As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies.
As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known…”

Mortgage or Loan Closing Costs – Negotiating Tips

Author: admin  //  Category: mortgage lenders

http://best-refinance-home-mortgage-loan-rates.com/
“you will never make money.. faster than around a negotiating table”
This is true for saving money too, when it comes to home loans or mortgages.

When people (new buyers) come to the banks and lenders they come without any ‘power’ to leverage the other side need for a deal too. Homebuyers come weak and “beg” for the loan officer or mortgage broker to give them a mortgage at the best rates..
While its the loan broker who needs the deal too.. if you do not close.. he gets no fees..

In this short movie you will get tips on how to save money while negotiation with the bank. The tips are short and simple. You need to do them with every business encounter. You can save hundreds of dollars this way.
Mortgage closing costs and fees, can sum up to a big cash payment.. you can reduce this by negotiating. When you negotiate you show you have other alternative, when you show the bank you are in a position to choose you have the ‘power’ (even when you don’t have other options..)

HUD GIVING $50,000 TO HOMEOWNERS BEHIND ON MORTGAGE 7-5-2011

Author: admin  //  Category: first mortgage

The Emergency Homeowners Loan Program will offer a zero interest, forgivable bridge loan to homeowners who have experienced a substantial loss of income (a reduction of at least 15%) due to unemployment or underemployment caused by adverse economic conditions or medical condition. Approved homeowners are eligible to receive one-time EHLP assistance to pay certain arrearages to bring them current, as well as ongoing monthly assistance to help them to make their monthly first lien mortgage payments (including payments of principal, interest, taxes, and insurances). Assistance is limited to a maximum duration of 24 months, or up to a maximum loan amount of $50,000 in mortgage payment assistance, whichever occurs first. The EHLP loan is secured by a junior lien against the approved homeowner’s principal residence and is forgivable over a 5-year principal reduction period.

For homeowners–making mortgage payments is a must to keep your house, but if you’re in danger of foreclosure, a new federal program could help. It’s called the Emergency Homeowners Loan Program (EHLP), and it could be the extra push that people need to prevent foreclosure.

The US subprime mortgage crisis was one of the first indicators of the late-2000s financial crisis, characterized by a rise in subprime mortgage delinquencies and foreclosures, and the resulting decline of securities backed by said mortgages. Approximately 80% of U. S. mortgages issued to subprime borrowers were adjustable-rate mortgages. After U. S. house sales prices peaked in mid-2006 and began their steep decline forthwith, refinancing became more difficult. As adjustable-rate mortgages began to reset at higher interest rates, mortgage delinquencies soared. Securities backed with mortgages, including subprime mortgages, widely held by financial firms, lost most of their value. Global investors also drastically reduced purchases of mortgage-backed debt and other securities as part of a decline in the capacity and willingness of the private financial system to support lending. Concerns about the soundness of U. S. credit and financial markets led to tightening credit around the world and slowing economic growth in the U. S. and Europe.
